Default sunroof issue

I have a brand new tC and the sunroof acts a little weird, i hold down the switch to open and close it and it always stops one or two times, so i have to lift up and push again. does this happen to everyone, or is it just me, its not a huge problem just a small annoyance.
i wish it were like the windows where i could just hit the button and it would open the whole way.

What do you mean it stops? There are a number of positions when you open it.

First, it will just pop open and angle up. That's the first position. Then you press it to open again and it opens about 80% of the way and will stop. Then you press it one more time and it opens the rest of the way. This is by design and it SHOULD do this. It's all in your manual (which you should have read by now).

As for closing, it should close all in one press of the button (you have to hold it the whole time though).

are you talking about when the sunroof automatically opens up and then stops 80%-ish from full open? and then when you close it it stops too before full close?

well... that's normal..

it doesn't open up fully because of some reason of instability or something, something i can't remember (it's designed that way)... and then it stops during closing for safety..

JUST READ YOUR MANUAL...

If you press and hold, the sunroof will continue to open beyond the tilt automatically.

^ Yes... hold for about 2 seconds. But then it still stops at the 80% mark.

Its in that thing in your glovebox. What's that called? Oh yeah, a Manual! Believe it or not, there's lots of useful (and more useless!) info inside that little book. Take a peek sometime. It also makes a great 'bathroom' read.

Its prolly so when it goes 80% back the second sunroom can still see out, because at all the way back its double tint on the second sunroof and hard to see out of

No... it's actually the preferred location when you're on the highway. If you open it ALL of the way, it may shake a bit at high speeds. If you read your manual, it outlines the positions and reasoning.
