ok so i talk to the dude that jsut sold me the trd s/c kit and im getting the parts i need except for the oil pan, radiator hose and the pre bent trd heat shield...and he told me that i dont need the reflash because i have the 12psi pulley and he told me that i dont need the reflash all i need is the tune. is that right? and would it be cheaper to get a oil pan or just tap my oil pan? all comments needed thanks.

i think what he means is that even the trd reflash wouldn't be enough to handle a 12 psi pulley, so you would have to tune the car anyway with a piggyback ecu, which can be done with the stock ecu, just might take alittle longer and be harder.

 

yea he told me that since i have the aem f/ic i should be good with a good tune and dont worry about the reflash

 

yeah, because even though i have the trd reflash on my supercharger, a 12 psi pulley would be too much for it period, so if your going straight to 12 psi, no point in reflashing since you'll have to tune it anyway.
