Default tC and JL Audio 12W7

does anybody have a 12w7 in thier tC? I want to put mine in, but was wondering if theres any specs on a box that would fit with the very limited trunk space of the tC. Thanks.

ive been thinking about JL. I wanted to get 2 JL 8w7's cause i wanted something small with still alot of power, but then i was thinking about JL 10w6's? Im not sure which one yet? If i get the w6 then im gonna get 1, if i get the 8w7's then ill get 2? Im not sure what to get? My trunk rattles already but i just ordered Elemential Designs eDead v1se. So i should be good with that?! Any body have any JL 8w7 or w6? Let me know! Thanks!

If you appreciate SQ, get the 2 8w7's and put them in ported enclosures about 30-32Hz....that and a JL 1000/1 and you'll be rockin....I'm thinking about 2 8w7's after I mess with this 15w3 for a little while.....

wow, and you thought you had rattles before.. those w7's are no joke. My friend has a 10w7 in his car, and he has a Phoenix Gold Tantrum 1200.1 pushing it.

i got my hatch and tire well dynamated. it dont help at all. trunk still rattles. the piece where the scion logo sits on the trunk. one of the bolts holdin it on came loose. had to take apart my hatch to tighten it back up. the sides of car warp in and out though. its pretty cool. people are like wtf when they see that. lol

^^^If you're gonna go with 3 subs, get all 3 the exact same, otherwise, it may cause cancellation issues....

$$$ talks. a 10w7 satisfied me...

sam_j, arent you from houston?

to tell you the truth i should have saved money and bought a w6... moves just as much air, cost less. (coulda used the extra 100 to invest in something else)

but either way JL is top of the line

x2 x2.

Please, PLEASE, use the 3 of the same.

Now I know why he was asking me for an article about it earlier.

Unless you are giving them different frequencies, it's kinda pointless to have 2 different sizes/series of subwoofers.

wow I REALLY like that setup with the 2x 8w7's. I wonder how much that setup would cost to duplicate.
