I'm surprised there wasn't more flaming in this thread

I considered doing the same thing: chopping and re-threading.

I thought about it again today when I took my center console/HVAC panel off to swap it for the new one I bought.

how bout just get a manual...that way when you do get a short shifter it will actually serve a purpose...

Some shift ***** offer height adjustment. My Razo executive had two height options. This was the lowest it could go.

Using an auto is a relief when you're stuck in traffic.
