hey guys i found a place for tweeters plus the stocks ones buit where did you guys wire yours? does anyone have the wiring colors and locations for an 08? thanks

 

so you are adding more tweeters?
can u tap the wire from the stock ones?

I ran my component speakers from the crossover.

 

Yeah I replace mine to crossover also with new comps........but if you replace your stock ones in the kick panels is a great place for them......

are you going to amp them?

i would get a good component set, and amp them. but i would also get a decent HU.

if you do get a comp set, put the tweeters in the kick panels.

 

i got the middle one for the 08's i think it should handle the extra tweeter ok, but i heard i can blow them if they are not crossovers?

 

once you amp the mids and tweets they will be very loud........in fact I am taking my tweet out of phase to try and tone them down a bit and if that does not work going to Seas to get a better tweet.

ditch the stock ones as they are cheap and not capable of much.

yep they fit right in.......passenger side was tight fit for mine but it still fit none the less.......i used a hole saw for my drill and cut it to exact size and then they are glued in to the spot but they were so tight fitment that it did not need it.

 

yup. get a hole saw whatever size the cut out diameter of the tweeter is.

or you could get crazy like me and aim them at the drivers side headrest for the extra "tss". lol
