i am fairly new on here, however i made sure to first make several attempts to find a related topic. obviously was not able to find anything such as this:

I have the Tyc tail lights on my FM tC, which i personally believe they look amazing; however iam wondering if anyone has or knows how to change the amber(turn signal part) from amber to clear?

reasons: Iam currently in process of changin all of the amber turn signal, including the side mirros and headlamps to clear; and the last thing i would need to change would be the rear Tyc. any information would be appreciated

 

I've never seen anything. You need the amber parts, in the headlights and tail lights, by law. They act as deflectors.

 

hmm.. i hope you're changing the bulb to red or amber though.

white turn signals in the rear are illegal.

and uhm... you can't remove them unless you break the housing open.. which will probably require the use of a dremel or other similar cutting tool.

 

in other words. i wouln't do it. just tint the tails.

i just tinted my tails and changed everything to clear. oh btw, does anyone make white led bulbs for the front turn signal? my mirror signals are super white, but my front turn signals are just clear incondesant bulbs (they have a yellow tint to them compared to the sw LEDS). i want them all to match.

 

i bought white bulbs for the front turn signal from a local autozone.
EDIT: white bulb but the color of the light when it blink is amber.

 

i bought two led bulbs on ebay, which look clear and blink, super white. those will probably match your side mirrors... the item number is:

i think they look great, good job on the tints, though i really like the tyc look , so if i tint anything it might only be the top, amber section of it... Mr1

and those turn signals from ebay are perfect, did you have to install a load equalizer?

 

yeah i did... you can get those from www.superbrightleds.com - they should be about 2dollas each or somehting like that.... ending result is perfect though... Mr1
