Default Undercargo Sub Rewire?

I have a 2010 tc with an undercargo oem sub and i recently upgraded the radio to a Pioneer x920bt. Everything is working great and sounds very good but I was wondering if there was anyway I can rewire the sub into the actual sub output of my head unit. Right now it seems to be tied into the rear speakers. Has anyone done this? Any help is appreciated.

I did try searching but was not able to find anything

Thanks
Adrian

There honestly would be no point. Essentially it just taking power from the speakers and amplifying it for your sub. To rewire it into the back of the headunit you would need a new amplifier that would run RCA's. The stock subwoofer has a built-in amp that uses wire for its signal. Don't waste the time on it.

ORRRRRRRRRR

upgrade your sub get some real sound in there.

I know its not the best sounding but its not bad at all. I would love to maybe put a stealth 10 in the back but not looking to spend the money on that right now. Maybe sometime in the future I guess.

And I checked and the other poster was right. It is getting the signal from the front speakers.

I've been wondering the same thing. Also been wondering about other sub options that I could mount in the same location to conserve the trunk space.
