Update: Wrinkles in the door panels - Now with pictures
Anyone else experience this?
I noticed this today, on the top (just below the window) just above the door handles on both door panels. My car sits outside in the sun all day (with a sun visor in the windshield) to try and keep the sun off the dash, etc.
Car is 3.5 months old, with 6700 miles on it.
It's too dark to take pictures right now, I'll see if I can get any tomorrow.

I showed the panels to the service department yesterday when I dropped the car off for the 10K mile oil change. They are replacing both panels under warranty, no questions asked. Parts are on order.

i think thats actually the texture... are you saying the little wrinkles on the top part above the cloth? if so thats stock... unless mines like you....
if worried take it back to the dealer. youre still under warrantee.

I'll try to take a picture of it today. It's not the "texture". I just noticed it yesterday for the first time too, and have cleaned the interior over the weekend.
All I did was use come clean wipes and dust things off too, so this sort of surprised me.

I've got it on the passenger side door about 6" from the mirror. It's kinda sad, I work at the dealership and I haven't had a chance to ask anybody about it. I don't guess it has worried me enough to take the time and ask.

It may have been there all the time you just never noticed it. It could have came out of the injection molder with the ripples in it. And if the same press was having issues that could explain why others have similar issues. These should have been caught by QC but didn't.
Something like that WOULD have been caught by QC. I can't imagine they have had their cars the whole time and never noticed wrinkles that big. If they were noticable in a picture, then QC would have caught them.

Most QC checks only one or a few out of so many in a batch of how ever many. For example with computer parts (let's say memory) they check like 1 out of every 1000 sticks and it would be rated as low quality, 1 out of 500 stick would be good quality, and 1 out of 100 would be top quality. So maybe the ones with wrinkles were in the ones they didn't check.
I understand that is the case because we only check x amount of shafts that come in from Aldila and Grafalloy (golf equipment) before we assemble our clubs, but I don't think cars would be the same. Since they come off the line and someone has to drive them a few times before they are at the dealers, you would imagine someone would notice that.
