Default VSS & Reverse Wire on 07 tC w/ Pics

I haven't been able to find any information for this wire regarding 07's VSS wire, it appears that the wire has been changed. I have looked through the wiring guides and located two spots where it might be located the wire is labeled SPD. I took some screen shots and then marked the locations with red boxes. Click the thumbnail for full size.

These are purely my speculation an help or changes would be appreciated. The top two appear to be the same location which is the HVAC harness. And the second appears to be one going into the stereo (probably for the ASL) in the same harness as the aux adapter. I have not been able to test either of these wires. Just thought I would try to shed some light on this situation since a lot of the wiring has changed since 05-06 models. If anyone has confirmed location that work or differ please let me know and i can add or change.

VSS

Audio Connector - Yellow Wire - Pin 3

ECM - Purple Wire - Pin 17 - 2nd Plug From Top

Reverse

I have an 07, and I have my Avic-D2 hooked up to the yellow wire in the stereo harness.

I did the install many months ago, I am 95% sure you used the yellow wire, but hopefully someone wil chime in to confirm that.

the yellow wire is indeed used, since the '06 models, for the HU's ASL feature.

that wire should work fine... good to see that you found many locations thru the manuals that you can hook them up to.

but yea.. anything that is labeled as "SPD" will work.

yeah before i found the stereo one i found the other since i knew thats where many others said they had tapped into it (with different pin location) so its what i was initially looking for. this should help clear up and future questions for others. ill get a picture of it tonight and post it as well.

Well i confirmed the the Orange Pin 18 on the HVAC connector does also work. I also took pics of the two wires for documentation purposes and future references. Also added ecm location for VSS and reverse signal location.
