What do you think of this amp and sub in my '06 tC?
Both are alpine products.
Amp: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500MRPM...ures_and_specs
Sub: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500SWR1...ures_and_specs
Will be getting only 1 of these 12 inch subs. Not sure if using a sealed or ported box. Advice would be cool.
All opinions welcome. This is not set in stone.

If your down to spend alil extra cash but get very good sound quality. I would go with either rd audio, or re design subs. But if you bass the heck out of your hatch id go with dd audio.
But i will agree ^^ alpine does make great headunits and the only sub i like from them is the type r which its those. So if i were you i would def look into an amp with a higher rms peak because with an amp thats gonna peak out at 300 rms your gonna get like 100-150 rms per speaker and these peak out out at over 1000
