i personally wouldnt use an FM transmitter because it cuts down the audio quality of the music, and isnt even guaranteed to work (my friend and my cousin have the itrip and depending on the local stations it works really good or poopy). your best bet would be get an after market deck with an aux in, granted it may be alot more than you would want the general pay off in the end is alot better imo. but out of myexperience with fm trasmitters, i had a unit that charged my ipod and transmitted too, it was great reception but just the sound quality killed me (im an audiophile..lol) which was some odd brand that i returned, but i think i saw it at target. other than that i havent really tried any other FM transmitters. good luck! =]

i haven't found a good one yet. my xm radio and my sirius radio both had them and i would still get crunchy sound, no matter what station i tuned it to.

if you have an 05 tc, get the aux input box like i did, then you plug in a headphone -> rca wire...perfect cd quality sound

meh, I picked up an iRiver thing for $50 and it's been working like a gem. 88.1mhz = empty empty empty. I haven't noticed a drop in sound quality either :o Course, I'm not an audiophile

thats what i hate, ya see i bought must of my songs through itunes and you cant directly convert their protected ACC files to MP3 files. the only way that i know of is to burn a regular cd then upload the songs from the cd onto your computer and then take those files and make an mp3 cd. but not only would that take forever but it would take a ton of cds.
