Okay i just finished my led swap out and the guages work perfectly but for some reason the hvac leds are dim and the leds for the clock doesnt work at all but before i even installed them i did a quick check they were dim but all on....so what could be the problem is it not enough power??? the air-con temp leds are normal and so is the a/c button and the button below that normal but everything else on the havc are dim help.....

 

Did you do the mod to the HVAC circuit? If not, you have to swap out a bunch of resistors and an IC to make it work for the blue, green or white leds. The gauges will be fine.

Hey does anyone know where i can get another hvac screen cause due to my cousin;s butter fingers he drop the center console assembly and the screen hit the shifter and now i have black lines and also for the side mirrors would my streetglow underbody led kit work for the led swap there cause i have three bars left due to some idiot cracking the front bar

 

For the HVAC screen, I am pretty sure you have to buy a whole new HVAC.

I think you can go to car-parts.com and get something for between $75 and $100... at least that's what I have read.

But I understand that you don't have a credit card, so that makes it a bit difficult. Do you have paypal (requiring just a bank account)? If so, maybe you can get lucky and find one on ebay or even on SL... you just have to look around.

If you go to the dealer, I am sure it's going to be pricey.

 

That is correct with the HVAC. Make sure you get the right model for it as well. The 05-06 are interchangeable but the 07 is not interchangeable with the other two.

Before you start ordering parts, did you replace all of the surface mount resistors needed in those mods as well? You should have replaced 7 resistors as well.

 

damn this suck you should have searched out the forum or asked questions before you started. thire is about 4 different ppl here on hte forum that sell the leds, the resistros and all that jazz you needm im sure if you send cash they will send them out to you.
but as for the screen you need to buy a new hvac. $60-100 if you can find one on ebay buy it if not online junkyards.
