can i get it replaced at the dealer for free?[/img]
yea, i had the same problem as you when i first got the OBX shift ****. all i did was unscrew the shift **** and then screwed it back on, making sure it was it was going on the threads smoothly. it eventually got hard to screw on when it was in a similar position as yours, all i did was put a little more elbow grease into it and now my shift **** sits flush with the shift boot. hope this helps!
yes it is screwed down all the way.. i cant screw down anymore...i tired as hard as i coud but didnt wokr.............stock shift **** fits perfectly....
i unscrewed and screwed it back on multiple times but always got the same result....
wat shoudl i do?

. i took it to the dealer but they just put this thing on the shift **** below that round thing which made the boot higher but when i had to reverse it felt like i was moving the whole boot. so i fixed it back..
did you just notice that it looks like crap? why didnt you take care of it when you bought it from the dealer? i wouldnt have driven it off the lot if they half a$$ed which obviously they did...
