This might be a silly question. I'm not familiar with the mechanics and dimensions of the shift boot of the tC (or any manual shift boot for that matter).

I've got an automatic tC but just got this shift **** (shown below). Before I order one at Toyota, I just wanted to get feedback if the OEM tC boot would sit at least semi flush with the ****. The diameter of the bottom of the **** is ~27mm if that matters.



Here it is on a Celica. You can see that it lines up with the boot really well.
