Default wiring length question

well im a noob to audio, but I'm planning to put in an ED stealth sub with an sq10 powered by a jl 250/1 amp above my spare tire. How long would my remote wire need to be? Power wire? Ground? Also, where does everyone ground their amp? I'm still reading through old threads and looking at the how to gut a tC. looks like alot of stuff. if anyone has any tips, please post. thanks

I bolted my ground for the sub amp on the rear seatbelt bolt. Scratched the paint off and tightly screw the bolt back in. It is recommended to have a ground wire as short as possible. Maybe 12 inches max.

About the power wire and remote, I didn't measure mine. How about getting a measuring tape and approximately measure it?

What I usually do is measure it from the outside of the car and add 2-3 feet. Hope that helps.

when i ran my RCAs there were 16ft i think. so id say 20 feet for each cable will be the safest maybe even 25. my ground is only about 2 feet long and its bolted to the child seat things haha.
