If you decide to go HID, I recommend straying away from the ebay kits, and finding a good retrofit kit, and build a wiring harness for him.

Go with the Sway bars and buy urethane bushings to replace all of the stock rubber crap.

Big +1 on that! Even at regular prices, you're looking at $225 installed and there is no way you can spend that little and derive so much benefit on the tC. I've driven them with and without this and the difference is night and day.
