First off, unplug the assembly from the mirror. Removing the mirror from the car is not required. Just tug on the wires and it will unplug. Its hard to unplug the first time but much easier after that. I will post a pic of where I cut mine in a little bit to give you a better idea.

OK Heres an awful mspaint diagram of where to make your cuts

CLICK ME

Follow the seam all the way around the light and dont worry about making it look pretty as the painted part of the mirror will cover all of this up and nobody will ever see it.

MysTiK, I know others have posted on the mirror removal. Would you mind giving us a quick rundown on what you did to remove the light housing? Thanks.

Ive contacted clear corners many times, they refuse to sell just the clear lens lol, Imo i think its stupid of them because ive yet to see someone with thier $1,300 headlights lol, Ive been looking for these for awhile now, Getting the orange part out is easy.

how do you remove the orange part from the tc headlights?
I read u gotta bake the headlight in the oven or something(to soften the glue).....and if not properly sealed therez risk of condensation in the morning?

i had Erik "The Instigator" do my side view mirror lights yesterday. all i have to say is amazing. i love the way they light up and night! NO MORE AMBER! YES!

here's pics of my car.

*note* turn signals in the headlamp housing are 7440 ultra white led bulbs purchased at www.superbrightleds.com just in case anyone asks.

You used silicone to close it back up? Isn't that going to be not-at-all-fun when it comes time to replace the lights?

Actually, silicone sealant peels right off. Its about the only adhesive you can easily remove. And replacing the lights probably wont be necessary. They have an estimated lifetime of 10,000 hours...and thats a LOT of signaling.

This is one HOT mod... and not every body can have this mod..
Anyone who has done this procedure, could one of you do a write-up? Like basic steps into a document, what you need to do this process. Maybe it will clear* up majority of the questions. TX
