I got it covered!, Im doing a full write up on this mod, just like my DC header install! It will be in the Tech section when finished full of pics etc, My leds should be here by thursday or friday so expect the article sunday at the latest.

Hmm ok I got everything apart and now im trying to solder the leds in but having one problem the solder will not stick at all... any tips?

SERIOUSLY, AWESOME MOD!

Now on the other hand, when will a company be smart enough to sell aftermarket replacements? I mean don't get me wrong, I like working on things but that's a little much for turn signal remplacement. Has anyone heard anything about aftermarket replacements for the side view markers and taillights? Please no one tell me about the TYC taillights, I've seen them and honestly I wouldn't have bought my car if it had them stock. They are the ugliest taillights I've ever seen! What were they thinking?

I don't understand this mod.

First it is illegal, and around here the police would easily pull you over if you had whites flashing instead of amber. Second, it looks cheap.

What do white turn signal bulbs mimic? It's certainly not European or JDM...it's just a tacky color change for no apparent reason.

 

First of all, its not illegal in California. White or amber turn signals are allowed. The "apparent reason" was that I wanted my turn signals to match my headlights. I personally cant stand orange turn signals so I chnaged them.

And I dont know how you can say this looks tacky:

 

anyone on Long Island willing to do this mod for $75?? im also too much of a wimp to take anything apart....i know ill break something
