(BTW, I still believe it a problem with the way my camera picks up the light...)

Will someone else do this? I promise you...the interior of both of my cars IS NOT PURPLE !

 

answering a question with a question, typical of someone who can't answer it because there is no answer that would favor them. but i will answer your question. i insult you because many of us have tried to show you that you are mistaken (see i even used a nice choice of words there, instead of me saying you are wrong) in your views about the interior color. we tried to give you the benefit of the doubt that you just don't know too much about the tc because you don't have one, and that you don't have one is ok. we understand that you are interested in getting one and that's great. but when you go and claim stuff about a car that you don't own and the owners tell you that you are mistaken and you insist that the owners, and people who sell them everyday, are wrong and turn it into this, well, this is what happens. also, read back a bit. i'm not the only one who insults you. i just do it more often.

there is nothing up in the air about the 05 or 06 interior color. just look. the proof has been presented many times and here it is again. straight from a guy who sells them and sees them everyday right next to each other:

the *proof* here is that the fabrics in both of the tC's are the same. the reason they're both "purplish" is because black cherry paint is much brighter and more reflective than a flint metallic paint. so when a light shines onto the paint, it reflects the paint's color to its surroundings. if the fabric tends to pick up color (which is so in this case) it would pick up the purplish light reflected on both cars especially when they're this close.

 

 

i don't know about you guys but my interior is made of cotton candy. And it glows in the dark. I guess the factory randomly puts it on cars they like more.

Is it possible to special order the car with red-ish interior fabric from the RS1.0 ? what's the color code for that ? I think it will go well with the CSM exterior.

 

Sorry, you ( we dealers) can't "order" anything with a scion from the factory...now a lot of things can be installed at the port (like 6-disc, led lights, spoliers, ect...) but not seats....you have to understand what "mono spec" means, it means all the cars regardless of color or transmission are the same.... btw I know someone gona say side airbags from the factory, here's how it works toyota make the cars ion Japan (only puts sideairbags in like 20% of the tc's BTW) then ships them to america, at the port they get divided up to where they are going ...so you don't order a car from the factory, you request a car from the port, I use the word request cause there no promise you ( meaning us the dealers) are gonna get the car you need....you see sometimes there aren't enough of that cars to go around.... we had a customer that wanted a BCP tc in a manual transmission w/ side airbags the month I took her deposit CAT(central Atlantic Toyota) was only given 13!!!!! that's for a 5 state area 13 cars, the next month they steped it up a little to 17 so to cover all the dealers in Maryland, Dc, Virgina, west Virgina, Delaware, Penn (sp???) so for a total of two months they were only 30 BCP 6221 (model code) with BE(side airbags) we have over a 100 dealers in the area and only 30 of those cars were made for us....that's why you read a lot of people waiting
