i don't know how many of you have looked at the scion site lately with the new 06 tc changes up on it, but i noticed something today in the pictures of the interior. i don't know if it is just the pictures, but the interior fabric for the front and rear seats looks like it has gray accents in it instead of the blue that the 05s have. also, the seatbelts look gray instead of blue like the 05 seatbelts are. anyone know if interior color has changed in this way for 06, or if it is just the pictures?

Pics seem to have gray accents, at least that is what my eyes tell me.

 

I thought that the 05 tC's already had the grey/black mesh?

I don't like the steering wheel design. I think the 05's look better even with no audio control and looks like the new one does not have the full stitches that goes around the wheel. Only on the two tone one.

 

Does the steering wheel with the controls work with our '05 tC?

 

yea thats tru...but like since i have an rs and i painted some red trim in my dash....and since the rs doesnt come with like a red trim steering wheel...i would so paint the aluminum parts on the steering red to match my dash and stuff

 

no, the 05s have black with blue accents. i think the 05's interior actually looks very similar to the xA RS 2.0's interior.

 

how come everytime someone mentions anything about the 06 tc this question appears?

 

i use to like the steering wheel design... but since i have an aftermarket deck, it wouldnt have worked out

The cell phone holder (change holder for some) door is also facing the opposite way and has seem to have shrunk.

 

it looks like it got wider from left to right, but i have found that it does come in handy for my cellphone. also, the cruise control labeling has changed a bit. the word "cancel" is no longer on the little stick.

 

f you go to build your own, and add the ipod ready player, when it does the adding your accessory deal, it pans down to the change holder and shows and ipod there. i'm guessing the change holder changed shape because of the ipod, tho i can't see why it matters.

 

is that where the dock in the "center console" is going to be?

i noticed that too. thought it was weird. maybe it's just a computer image programming mistake, but i wouldn't be surprised if it did look like that for real.

the more i look at the 06, the more rare my car becomes.

 

lol I doubt it has 2 j hooks.. my guess is when they modeled the car... they did half of it and mirrored the other half then joined them.. that's why.. and they forgot to erase the second duplicate one..

What's also funny is that ALL of the pictures in the Gallery are computer generated..even the interior ones...

I'm not sure I know what you all are talking about blue accents? My tC is an 05 and as far as I can tell, it's grey.
