07 TC Intake Problem - Please help if you have info on 07 TC
I installed a cold air intake on my TC and got the check engine light when I started my car. So I tried doing an EFI reset by pulling the fuse for a few mintues, put it back in, which did nothing.
So then I tried disconnecting the negative battery cable, and the check engine light was off when I started the car, so I let the car sit for about 5 to 10 minutes, and started driving it after letting it sit.
But this is where my problem comes into place, the check engine light comes back on within 20 minutes to an hour while I'm driving. So I tried doing the battery reset the next day but I had the same exact problem with the check engine light coming on again. I guess the ECU on the 2007 TC is a little different than the 05 & 06 from what I understand.
Please help if you know whats up though.

if you have an intake designed for the '07 tc (the mafs is different than the previous model years) it's most likely a problem with your mass airflow sensor. either it's not installed correctly or it's dead. anyone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, but that's all i can think of.
it all depends on what year tc you have, compared to the year your intake was designed for. i just installed an '07 Injen Intake for my '07 tc and it works perfectly. if the year of your car and the intake are different (bencott explained) then thats where your problem lies. if the years match up then something must be wrong with the sensor...
