Default 08 Scion tC Front Turn Signals

I recently bought an 08 Scion tC that has the front turn signals reconfigured where now the side markers are the turn signals and the original front turn signals just stay on all the time. I want to change it back to the OEM configuration where the side markers stay on all the time and the front turn signals flash. Does anyone have any thoughts on what needs to be (un)done with the wiring to do this? Appreciate the help

My first thought would be that previous owner simply cut and spliced the wires in the new conifiguration. Check at the sockets and back along the harness and look for splices, heatshrink (if it was a solder joint), electrical tape, etc.

If it was done cleanly, it may be wraped back up in the factory loom. You might have to peel some of it back and investigate further. When you find the splice location, cut and resplice the wires back the way you want it. It should be as simple as matching the colors back together.

Snap a few pictures for us as best as you can....that really helps alot.
