Good, glad they're waiting til 2010 for the new tC. That means my car will only be a last-gen car for 1 year before the new Toyota RWD coupe comes out.

 

So when are we expecting to see these hit dealers? I am in the market for a scion but would glady wait a month or two for the 09 just to have a newer model year...

The lady at my lot said they can't discount a scion until it's a year old... I assume she meant until it's the last model year and not actually been sitting on the lot for a year...

 

yes, so with the same logic, the 2008 xD and xB2 came out in 2007. which is still only 4 years, which, my point being, meant that a tC update looked like it was on the horizon for the 2009 model, but it is not (fortunately).

Ok like you would really expect much from them just for a new model year when they already did a slightly altered look for the 08's.

 

So went to my dealer and they said they have not heard about this and that they show nothing but 08 shipping through may...

I would expect them not to volunteer info on the 09s but it seems odd that they would not have any 09s showing as shippinng this close to what Toyota says is coming and they even said they called into West Coast regional and there is no info there about 09 TCs coming in.

I know car salespeople can be questionable on truthiness but this seems like an awful bold faced lie to make considering...

What do you guys think... are we reall likely to see 09 TCs by May 30 or is it more likely June or July before we start seeing them? It does seem awful early in the year to start shipping new models...
