I reheated the original glue.

Some more teaser pics I kinda rigged up a way to see if my modified cutoff was going to work. I wired the drivers side fog light straight up to the battery and kinda pushed it in to the vent. Here are a few pics:

My Digital rebel kinda overflashed on this one

This one is better. I think the pattern looks good

This is standing at the drivers fender

The headlights are not on, only the parking lights so no one would rear end me.Let me know what you guys think about the beam. The cutoff seems to work like it should. I flipped it over the other way, and it would of blinded all oncoming traffic, so it looks good so far. Keep watching for a completed project in the next few days, next Sunday at the latest.

thanks for the pics... looks pretty decent so far... you can get a better idea of the cutoff if you face a wall about 10-15 away from your car. With the headlamps off that is. Keep us updated....

oh and i thought slowpoke was the one doin this? so u have your own set of is300 lamps and your showin us instead huh? cool.

Bad news You have to cut the hell out of the bumper to get these lights to fit. I took the day off from work and have spent all day trying to get these on. It's not going to be as easy as we hoped. I'll post pics and more info later.

So even right-side up (or with the lights reversed in the housings, it still really doesn't fit? That's too damn bad. I was starting to think that since some of the Lexus guys are involved in Scion design that they had just ripped the vents off of the IS300 and flipped them. If that isn't the case, I'm a bit bummed. I want the fit to be like stock. Why can't Scion just make us all happy and give us REAL fog lights instead of the weak ones they ripped off of the Matrix?
