Default After a While....What I noticed

Ok...I have had my tC for about a month now and these are some of my observations. First off there is an incredibly large blind spot where the rear pillar is. Secondly, sometimes when downshifting from four to three, I cannot get into third gear on the first try, kindof weird, and somewhat dangerous. Sometimes when it has rained and you open the hatch, water pours right into your backseat, maybe I'm just paranoid?. My door also squeaks a little when it opens, probably an incredibly easy fix if I wasn't so lazy, and last off on the bad list is my car came un-aligned from the dealer.

Now for the good, whcih totally outnumber the bad. EVERYBODY on the road looks at this car! Driving this car brings a ton of attention to you, and I love that. Secondly, this does not drive like a friken 17k car. The styling, the driving, the interior, and everything else on this car is AWESOME.

yes when u open the hatch after rain.. it drips right on ur back seat.... I did it a couple times after washing the car. I dried it and it still does it.. i guess it stores water somewhere in the cracks..

I honestly did not notice a huge blind spot in my tC. I have had it a month tomorrow. I think that possibly I just don't notice it - my previous car was a 96 Pontiac Sunfire and I guess I was so used to compensating for it that I barely notice it at all in the tC.

My truck has a BAD blind spot about where my rear wheels are on my bed. I just got used to looking over my shoulder. *shrug*

Yup, blind spot on the driver side C-pillar. Not so much on the passenger side. I have an auto so...um..I personally don't know the third gear thing. The water from the hatch does pour in. The door probably needs lubricant

For the driver's blind side, it has been posted before, but go to auto store and get the "concave" mirror which stick on your mirror. Then you can see your whole side of the car and whether a car is on your blind side. Cost is less than $3.

you SHOULD be checking your mirrors enough to know where everyone is and you SHOULD check your blind spot by turning ur head quickly before you change lanes... defensive driving 101 every cars gotta blind spot just check it

Are you sure about it??? It actually drips right ON TO the back seat??? Damn, that would suck when it rains.

Thats why I bought these Neat Convex Mirrors..I noticed that 2, But these mirrors help so much. I've had people ask if they came on the car..

:D Nice, those mirrors are on the first mods i'm planning. I found a site called cipamirrors.com that specializes in these. Cuz i noticed the ones at Autozone look like crap and are all warped and made of plastic.

Shouldn't you mount the convex add-on to the bottom, inner corner? I wish they just made the entire movable window convex, that would be so much safer. Probably would stop lots of accidents.
