Post Air fuel ratio engine connection

Ok, lately ive installed my gauges in my car, so far i only have my boost gauge working properly but i still need my oil pressure and air fuel ratio! everything is wired through the car and on and working but those 2 are not wired yet!

for the air fuel i know that it connects to the o2 sensor on the header inside the engine but not quite sure what wire to connect it to. theres 3 wires, a green white and black! any suggestions or tips on that?

for my oil pressure i believe that i gotta dump out my oil that is currently inside my car in order to connect a part of it to the motor. what is the next step to do or what can i do to properly get my oil pressure running?

not to familar with glowshift,or there wires...but usually,the wideband sensor,goes on the s-pipe,would need a,additional bung installed,if not already have one,right beneath,the 02 sensor,the oil gauge,you can t it off the head off the stock oil sensor,or get a glowshift oil filter sandwhich,and used that for oil pressure

The reading you receive from the O2 sensor will not give you an accurate reading because it is a narrowband sensor. It will essentially be a dummy gauge. If you are looking to make the needle move around, just hook it up to any wire that will give you a voltage of between 0 and 3v. If you want something accurate you will need a wideband sensor.

@my06tc isnt there an o2 sensor right there on the header too? yeah thats what me and my friend was plannin on doin with the oil, t it out but not quite how its gonna fit with my supercharger though!!!!

@Roller_Toaster yes its a wideband a/f gauge

@TheQuietThings well i actually want it to read and work properly instead of it just bouncing up and down though

A narrow band taps into your existing 02 sensor, while a wideband usually requires welding a bung onto your header/downpipe for the wideband's very sensitive 02 sensor.

Then you will need to buy a wideband 02 sensor.

There is an o2 sensor on the header, it's the MAIN one for the car. It's also not inside the motor. Anyways, if you want a PROPER read, you need a wideband o2 sensor installed in the S pipe. Then run the gauge to that. A properly reading gauge will "bounce" to an extent as your A/F ratio changes. Connecting to a narrow band will give you more a light show. This is what you are trying to do.

Are you turbo'd? And I hope you didn't pay too much for Glowshifts, their garbage.

[QUOTE-Sleeper_TC] oh ok and those are a bit pricey arent they? like the aem a/f ratio gauges! well i actually want an actual reading not a light show...

and actually my car is S/C and i paid like $80 for my boost and a/f guage

Glow shift gauges? Ughhh! Send them back or throw them away. I've always had good luck with AEM gauges and Defi.
