Air Ride, Gauging interest in a DIY
Alright like the title says. I have the next 4 days off work and am changing out my autocross Tein SSP /w upper and the EDFC for an easy street Air Lift suspension. Was just wondering if anyone would be interested in a DIY on how to do this, as I haven't found one anywhere however am almost 100% I can get this done tomorrow. Of course I have tons of pictures of the project BUT writing the DIY will take time.
Let me know, have no problem doing it just want it to be useful

Well i started tonight got the front and rear struts fitted so I could start doing some modifications so I can lay them completely aired out... I couldn't get the 18s to fit right, going to need to roll fenders however I still don't have the compressor and tank hooked up so i can't get "true fitting" on pavement and what not. But here is a teaser ghetto stanced on wood off balance and about half an inch from all the way down and still partially supported by a jack. Hope you enjoy
Pre bagged:

Now on air, can probably get down another half an inch or so however due to circumstances don't dare to. As well I have a TRD exhaust I need to call about getting re routed and will probably have them cut and re-fit one.

As it sits now on my 17" stocks the bottom of the rim is actually a little above the bottom of my body panels. Hopefully tomorrow I can get my 18s on and even though that will lift the car a bit. I still will be a lot lower then i was dropped on my Teins.

Why do you need to reroute your exhaust? I have TRD exhaust, 18s and on air lift kit, and didnt have to do any modifications at all. Only reason why I cant dump the front all the way is because of my side skirts hit the ground first. kaminari side skirts are freaking tall. Back dumps all the way and the front sits around 30 psi on both sides
Also, out of curiosity did they send you shims for the front struts when you bought it or did you get the kit used? When I bought my kit, a month or so later they sent me struts for the fronts because the strut had a little bit of play in it. Also since I bought my kit they redesigned a seal on the front struts to make it sturdier. Just kinda a heads up for you.
