Sharing what I've heard:

2.5L 180 hp
6 spd manual or auto
tC is the name
colors are the same switch waveline to "concrete"
premiers at NY auto show in late March/early april
18" wheels
front looks like refreshed tC, rear looks like a fuse
optional led driving lights
optional all weather mats

That's all I have for the moment, we'll leak what we can when we know stuff! Stay tuned!

The 2011 (model # 6228/6229) tC will:

These model #'s represent RS models now. It's just for tracking is what I understood . . . ? Dunno . . .

Not what I was told, but maybe. The RS 7.0 xB is 6208/6209. So probably right.

Highly doubt it. The IS floor plan is the same as the GS and they're both RWD and both based of the Toyota Crown. Price wise, it's not feasible to heavily modify the Crown platform to satisfy the need of a usable FWD vehicle.

I talked to my Scion manager some more and he said the pics he saw from the Scion people at SEMA the car was white. Now I'm thinking it was just the stuff that they cover the cars in before being released but anyway. This has no real value to this post but thought I'd add this in.lol

I second that, I was just at the Cleveland Auto Show over the weekend and spoke with one of the Scion representatives. He stated he has seen a picture of it before and really could not give me much information on it, but he did state like you mentioned it is going to be a mix between the current Scion tC and the FUSE concept. I asked him about the engine and it is definately going to be a 2.5 liter engine, BUT they are not going to offer any sort of Turbocharger or Supercharger for the car. Also I was told that Scion had stopped making the TRD supercharger for the current model tC and that they had to do it mainly due to emmisions standards in the states of NY and CALI. The Scion rep also mentioned that the car will only be available in FWD no plans on making the tC AWD or RWD.

I believe that VW will be a hybrid of some sort.
