Probably not. But when stuff goes out a few miles after the warranty, you'll wish you had.

I missed my free first of 3 tire rotations and oil changes that toyota gives you by 1000 miles [went in @ 6000 miles] and they said since I was so many miles late past it it voided all 3 of them. Thank fully someone pulled some strings for me and got me in, but none the less, it usually would be voided.

 

^^ that's total bs. you don't have to use your 3 right away, you can spread them out if you want.

Anyway my question is.....the tire rotation was free??

 

i think they made you feel better over nothing.

i personally have done none of the services on my car, only thing i do is change the oil which i do on my own since i don't trust anyone else working on my car. i have one of the first tc's from back in 04, i love it and it still runs like new.

 

Oh. Interesting. Maybe so. But yeah I was told [my step father managed it] that you have to come in within a few '00 miles of the scheduled tuneup.

Yeah it was 3 free tire rotations and oil changes.

 

I'd say do it yourself or have it done if you like your car at all. Keeping on top of regular maintenance makes for a happy car.

actually if you dont do the services and you have a problem later on they can refuse to do warranty work, they can say it was owner neglect.. that is what happened with my sister and her acura.
