4800 miles now and i ve had no probs with my tC till now... My moonroof, when im closing it, suddenly stops and retracts back open once it moves to a certain point in the track.anyone else exp this? It only hapenns now and again - so far prolly about 3 times in the last month Any advice or comments?

 

I think I recall hearing some other owners complaining of this on the board...but <knock on wood> nothing for me after 800 miles so far.

I'll take it to a dealer and have 'em check it out under warranty for you.

 

I just got done greasing up my moonroof hinges and track
and the problem is gone now ..try that...I just got done doing that and the hatch hinges and etc..hopefully that'll rid my hatch rattle.

 

yeah i just called the dealership and ima have to take it down next week, but its comforting to know that maybe someone else has exp this ............

 

Ya, mine does it too occasionally. I'm thinking it may just have to be greased up again like Setarcos said. The retraction is a safety feature so that when you get your head caught in it, the sunroof won't kill you like the Sport Ka did to the kitten.
