That would have scared the crap out of you, and perhaps would have forced you to drive off the road. The sensor isn't very far from the impact site.
i dont think that would have made the airbags deploy

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAH apparently that kid has never been to nj before.

f*ck 287 and 80 and 46 and 23. ALL THOSE ROADS ARE HORSESH!T
that construction wont be done till like 2013

Um kid? Oh your 25 2 yrs older. So im guesing your so mcuh more mature and well seasoned in the ways of the world. And actually Im from PA and know Jersey well as I have family there. Hey it never hurts to try cause if that s*** happened to your car you would want the person responsible to pay for it. But I forgot how stupid some of you Jersey people are and that you have no sense of common courtesy. Thats why nobody likes Jersey it blows.

you would be surprised i rear ended a car going no more than 5mph and it was an suv that sat high up and hit the sensors right and both bags went off

I was just stating that if youve never dealt with nj road/state/city municipalities then you kinda have no idea how much of a pain in the ***** it is.

people from nj are pretty nice, its our political situation that sucks

I aint trying to start anything i was just offering the OP advice and I didnt aprecciate the comment from ERIC_TC. Im just wish the OP GL with getting it fixed. Good Day.
