I'm asking because just had my stearing column changed, was wondering how many people had something qutie serious (no ratles or that kind of stuff) with their cars. I had around 5kmi when noticed my stearing wheel was clicking.

 

can you tell us the last 4-5 digits of your VIN? so we can know what number of production yours was in? thanks

What does that have to do with it?

 

It lets people know if their car was produced around the same time as the 'problem car'.

 

is it a manual transmission or auto? and yeah it lets people know if their car is around that production number..

My car isn't too far off of yours, and it's also a stick. I'll keep my ears listening for any trouble, but so far I've got nothing. Only about 4k miles on it, but don't let it fool you - almost all of my miles are in city, over hills, in traffic, and very short trips, so I'm sure the wear and tear adds up a bit faster. No problems so far other than a little rattle or two.
