Hey all, I know there are problems with the moonroof rattling and all, and the deflector recall. but for you people that use the sunroof a lot, like open and close it a lot, do you have any leaks or messed up weatherstripping, or are the motors weaker than they once were?

I am just wondering because I know that cars with sunroofs/moonroofs are generally prone to this, but I was wondering if it was much of an issue with the tC.

i use my sunroof a lot, and it works fine. doesnt even rattle

 

sweet, good stuff. mine just has a rattle right now, but its on the left side arm that holds the deflector up thing. if i hold it going over bumps theres no rattle.

 

i found that if you take some silicone spray (use a rag to block overspray) and spray on the arms' pivots of where you were holding.. the noise goes away.. try that and let us know if the noise disappears..
