Automatic 0-60
I thought the same thing when buying a tC, "why mod this car it is sooo slow"". But after reading and seeing other tC modded it gave me the mod bug all over again.
The same can be said about an auto, yes it is slower than a manual but it is still fun to do.

8.5 seconds sound about right. I don't know about other auto owners, but on dry pavement/cement I have been able to spin the tires all the way through first gear. Not only on one occasion, I have done it many times. Maybe why now at 20,000 miles I have to have my stock tires changed out.
