I bought my bass system for my tC when I am ready to actually purchase one...

2x 12" Sony Xplodes, P5's
2x RF 1 Farad Capacitor
2x 1200 watt Sony Xplode 2channel amp (1 amp per sub)
1x dual 12" sealed box

:? Nice but you will have a good deal of ppl asking why you went with sony subs.

 

If you've ever heard a P5 sub, you'd understand...Sony does suck, but their P5 subs are incredible...

 

1200 w rms or 1200w peak on those amps?.?

smurf im running almost the same system with just 10's instead of 12's they sound great for the price

 

each amp is 1200 watt peak, 500 watt RMS single channel...



SPL measurement will be as soon as it's installed...

I scored 138 with 2x Sony XL series off 1x 1000 watt amp...

 

wow dude! i have a 12'' sony xplod 1200 watt also in my tc!!! it's got an audiobhan amp, and that thing does the job well = )

Im getting ready to purchase my tc, itll be a super white with the trd exaust. I love the sound. My sound system will include
Bass:
Infinity amd (1300rms at 2ohms)
2 10in kicker solobarics (600rms a per sub)

Inside speakers:
4ch Infinity amp (111rms X 4 at 4ohms)
6.5 Infinity kappa components
5.25 Infinity kappa back speakers

Cd Player:
Alpine CDA-9831

 

Watch out/be prepared for mad amounts of trunk rattle.

I got the a2300hct audiobahn amp (2300w RMS!!!!) I got 2 12" Image Dynamics they are holding the 1150w rms each. (I'm sorry I can't hear anything anyone's saying!!! Speak a little louder!!! LOL!)

 

Umm, the 2300hct does not put out 2300 RMS... devide that in half...

2300hct is a 2400 watt amp...No amp puts out what it says it does RMS...
Ex, 1200 watt amp puts out 1/4 - 1/3 of that...(single channel)

no...it doesnt...

 

Actually, the specs on that amp say that it CAN put out 2400 watts RMS, albeit at a 1 ohm mono load. Or 1200 x 2 1 ohm.

 

That is exactly how I'm running it. I'm running it at 1ohm impedance to 2 subs=1200w rms per sub. Yes... It does!!! :twisted:
