Brake / Reverse light overlays question
I want some overlays for the rear of my car, not a fan of all the clear. For the third brake light I still want it to light up red...but for those of you with smoked rear brake lights does it still show up red? If not, I guess I'll have to go with a red overlay. For the reverse lights I want something that still shows up clear, don't know if that's possible. Do the smoked ones do this?
how bout the smoked ones for reverse lights? i'm thinking they won't be completely clear, but maybe still kinda clear. i want my reverse lights to work since it's sort of dangerous to have them light up red...although they do look really good.

but if ur that concerned, i believe bluebat has smoked tailights with the reverse light cut out
but like i said, mine is fully smoked and it is visible
Have you thught about using Nite-Shades? You can spray on the smoke color. Use a couple of coats sand in between with a very fine grain. And once its all dry use a clear coat.

The smoke colored overlays does not change the color output of any of the lights. Only thing the smoke overlays do is reduce the light output (think of window tint). The darker the smoke, less light is output.
