Hey everyone, I just heard about this site, so I checked it out and decided to join...I'm 18 and I just bought a brand new 2008 scion tC, 5 spd of course...I got the car about a week and a half ago, its the waveline pearl color, I gotta say that I love this car, cant find anything wrong about it....I plan on throwing some black 5 spoke rims on it, lowering it, and tinting the windows....I also wanna throw a carbon fiber hood on the car 2 just because i think it would look slick with the cars color, well gimme some feedback and gotta give props to scion for making a great car...

o yea fellas i'll def. have pics up soon, thanks.....but I have a question for all you tC owners.....I wanna lower my car and put tints on it asap, wuts a tC w/out being lowered and tinted?? The thing is i dont wanna void my warranty....I was wondering if you install the TRD parts if that will void it..or do you have to have them installed when you actually buy the car...lemme know, thanks...

 

Every dealer is a bit different in how they handle warranty claims but generally if you put lowering springs on the car and parts of the susepension fail they will more then likely not cover it because of the aftermarket lowering springs. But if someone else was wrong they cant void your whole warranty because the springs couldnt really cause other parts of the car to fail..

if you want to be on the safe side you can go with TRD and let them install but be prepared to pay dealer prices for this work.

yea, you'd have to have the dealer install only trd parts.

if you install trd springs, it will still void your warranty cause you're not a professional. lol
