Default Can someone verify this?

if I want to look for wheels online, should I use the Celica as a comparison search? I know that most online wheel vendors does not have the tC in their database, but I heard that the Celica's specs close enough that what ever wheels work for them work for the tC, too. This way I can filter the compatible wheels

can someone verify this? are there any other alternatives/suggestions?

I'm not too sure, but the larger companies that I've shopped so far have the tC in the databases, where are you shopping for wheels?

off the top of my head, only tirerack.com and discountires.com seems to have the tC on their database. Frankly, I'm not quite fond of their selections

I'm with ya on tirerack, I think they downright suck... they've had the exact same wheels in their database since I was 15 years old (lol). However, Discount Tire Direct is an excellent place to go for wheels and will even offer you a decent trade-in on your factory wheels. They've got a great selection, mostly high quality but they're pretty fairly priced, offer free shipping, and include hub centric rings along with new lug nuts and wheel locks. I dunno, personally I don't think I'll ever go anywhere else for wheels but that's just me and I'm picky, as I'm sure you are too :-)

i second the vote on discount tires, much better selection of rims and performance tires (please PLEASE tirerack, start carrying Falken Azenis!!)

If you're looking for some Volks, SSRs or some other tuning brand though, good luck on finding a distributor website with information on the tC's rims. I'm sure you can do a search and get the exact info on the offset on the rims and from there you could figure out what other rims you could use.
