Default Please Verify - Heated Outside Mirrors

While re-reading my owners manual for the 2005 xA I own I, it states that the rear window defroster also controls the heaters in the outside rear-view mirrors.

Wow! Never noticed that in all the marketing material.

Can someone verify this or is there a misprint in the manual. I didn't see this as optional or accessory so it must be standard.

Thanks,
NJTrout

What they said above - I must've spent a freakin' 1/2 hour - 45 mins between playin' around, trying to figure out what I was doin' wrong, & waiting for 'em to get warm...DUH!

Boy, that is some mistake. Makes me think that this was a feature/accessory/option that was pulled at the last minute. Probably show up in the '06..my luck.

Thanks,
