Default Car Storage and Fuel

Hey Guys usually around this time of year I try and keep my car in the garage as much as possible simply to avoid road salt as well as having to wash in in the cold. The question that I had is that if I keep it in the garage for a long duration with gas in the engine, will this hurt the engine in any way? thanks

ive heard that gas can "die" in 6 weeks...this has always happened in my dirtbikes and makes them run rough(after months)...

my truck has had the same tank of gas for about 2 months and it still runs fine when i use it once a week (im out in the country and have to take my trash off)...if anything it may feel hesitant when your giving it some gas.....

i would just go buy some fuel stabalizer..its not expensive and will prevent what your worried about.

thats what i've heard, no tellings if its true..like i said., my truck runs fine..but it should never cause any damage unless the gas is so old that the car wont crank..then you have a problem..

Gas can die in as little as three weeks. Get a bottle of gas stabilizer and you will be fine.

Hmm this talks about like storing a vehicle for like 5-6 months-- I use mine once a week, granted its only driven like 5 miles in that week, its still taken out and driven once a week-- so i'm not sure that it would need fuel stabilizer............i guess thats only for a reallllly long period of time storing it..

Exactly, im just going to store the car for about a a month, maybe a little longer. It will be started a couple times a week, so maybe I dont need to fuel stabalizer
