Default changing side turn signal cover

I don't know where to post this...so I'm posting at here, since it is regarding my TC.

When I got my TC a week ago, the sales person told me that turn signal panel on right side mirror was damaged during the transportation. (There is a crack on the cover) He told me that he will order the part for me, and once the part arrives, they will install it for me.

I got a call today that the part has arrived. When I went to service department with the part, the person said, "hmm...I have never done this installation before" with funny/confusing expression on his face. Now, I am starting to worry and wonder if I should let this dealership handle this.

If anybody has a service manual for installing/changing side turn signal, can I get a copy of it? If it is fairly easy enough, I would rather trust myself to do it than this guy w/ no confidence to do this installation.

Let the dealer do it, if it breaks again, it coverd by warranty. If you do it & you break it, warranty will not cover it, or I dont think they will because its a oem part not a aftermarket part.

I made a post about this but basicly say your car is White take the White part of the side mirror and remove it. It is helt in by clips, Then just unscrew the housing and unplug the plug for the lights and your done!

I say just let the dealer do it. If he breaks it, he'll have to fix it.
But I was wondering, is there an orange bulb in there, or is the inside of the reflector orange? I want mine to blink white, not orange. Is that legal?

Yeah, I've been wanting to change mine too. I know it's illegal where I live, but I don't think the cops care too much. I never got a ticket for the white turn indicators on my acura.

Anyway, does anyone know the bulb size for the mirrors? I know, I know, it's in the manual, but there may be someone on here who knows off the top of their head.

i think it LED inside, not light bulb.

i don't think changing different light color is a good idea since the orange is very visible, it's colored for a reason. white color is not visible, and I almost got into accident once because I couldn't see the riced out civic's white turning signal.
