An amazing thing happened to me today at work.

I was complimented by a 2003 Mustang GT owner.

Now to most this doesn't seem like a big deal. But I work at Ford, and the person complimenting me was a salesman. That just doesn't happen. I was like...holy crap. So how bout your big compliments?..anyone?

 

Sorry Fords suck, except the trucks....Mustangs are crap, and the new one...is ugly, so take it as good news LOL

I think the new mustangs are beutiful. The last model sucked though. And I'm not saying fords are good.

I haven't really gotten a compliment that stands out yet but everyone who has seen my car or heard that I got it has complimented me. I haven't gotten one bad comment from anyone who knows what the tC is.

 

i like the old mustangs.....under 70's. now those are nice

 

ford's european division produces some quality cars.

 

whenever I tell someone I ordered a scion, they think I got the Box :?

 

maybe they do, but here they suck.....

 

When I was driving on I-75 in Cincinnati last weekend I was behind this Cherry red BMW 325i. He was flying so I figured... "hey why not follow him. If anyone gets pulled over it'll be him." So as it turns out later on we both got off at the same exit. At the stop light he told me what a great car I have and how impressed he was that I could keep up with him. hahah

 

keep up with him..? 3 series BMWs aren't THAT much mor e powerful, but that's still pretty cool.
but, man, the new Mustang GT is a beast....

 

I drove my brother to the Honda dealer to buy a S2000 a few months back and the salespeople just swarmed all over my car asking questions and saying things like "Damn, Honda can't beat that price" I question the loyalty of those salespeople to this day.

 

This Honda salesman also complimented on my car. He had never seen one and asked to see mine. I gave him the keys and he checked it out. He then asks me how much for the car. When I told him the price he was like man it has features like an Accord but Civic priced. He then proceeds to tell me none of his customers have asked about the Scion tC and he was not going to tell them about it NOW. Haha.

The new Mustang UGLY?! I dont like american cars but you must be out of your mind!! The new Mustang is truly A MUSTANG. This is the best one yet!

 

i was complimented the day i got my white tc by a guy in a 97 porsche 911 turbo. his son and him waved and said thats neat who makes it. thats when i knew this was the car for me. its rare were i live.

 

Yea I agree, for some reason I really do like the new ones. I think its more of that kinda muscle car appearance and I like that stuff for some reason.

 

yeah i had someone come up and loved the car, yet they thought it was the new infiniti (sister car to 350z).. and they thought the car was $35,000! lol that was funny to see their jaw drop when they found out it was half that!

 

I was driving along Colorado Blvd in Pasadena and as i slowed to a red light i was admiring the Black G35 coupe next to me and he rolled down his window once we stopped and the two guys inside said "Nice Ride!" and i said the same back. They were all jockin on my ride the whole time while i drove past them. That was hella cool.

 

New to the site- joined a month or so ago after I bought my tC. Forgive me if I break any rules as I haven't had much time to explore the forums and learn the unwritten rules...

The first night I had my white tC I pulled up to a light next to a couple of guys in an old school Impala (chrome to the sky- it was pretty nice!) and they couldn't take their eyes off my tC! The light turned green and I was gone before they could even get off the brake, jaws still on the floor. I will always remember that.

Now I moved to Podunk, WV (for a job, not by choice) and nobody's even heard of Scion- but EVERYONE I've met has had nothing but positive things to say about it. I just put a pretty bold graphics kit on it, I'll get some pics up and you can check 'em out...
