This evening I went by the Honda dealer I had purchased my 2000 Civic EX from to fill out the extended warranty refund form for the portion I had not used by the time I traded the civic for my tC. I had barely pulled into a parking space when 4 salesmen were walking around the tC, asking to look inside, under the hood, etc. They asked all the stats and the price and there were looks of astonishment at what you get for the price. One particular salesman who claimed to have sold toyotas for 7 years tried to tell the other salesmen that it was 'just and Echo' with a new body. (I corrected him as to where and what the tC 'came from' and to look it up on the web for confirmation)

While I was there I remembered reading TrafficinLA's post and thought I would post up the similarity of the incident. ;)

I get compliments on mine all the time. People get so excited when I tell him how inexpensive it is. : )

It truly is a smartly designed car and people do recognize that.

i saw that on a ford truck once but it was talking about chevy

since ive had my car i have been stopped at lights, and when im getting gas at least 10 times by people asking about it and who makes it and "is that the same company that makes that little box thing?"
but i like the attention it makes me feel swell
