I get compliments every time I go to the car wash. Just got one not too long ago. From a guy who owned a 40+k Mercedes coupe... He didn't even know what kind of car it was. But he walked away from his benz just to check it out. I got compliments from rsx-s owners, bmw owners, domestics... the works haha..

 

Unless it's an M3...

 

I came out of a Honda Dealership after getting an s2000 shorty antenna and I see 3 salesmen swarmed in front of my car looking in the windows and whatnot, I unlocked it as they were looking and proceeded to walk towards it. They asked me if it was my car (I'm 17) and I replied yes, they looked at me weird and asked how much it was, their jaws dropped when I told them the price. They also commented on how much better of a deal it was than the cars they sell, and how much they love it. I too pondered the loyalty of those salespeople, then again I rank on my salesman everytime I see him for driving around in a Monte Carlo

 

hey all!...i have gotten compliments from almost everyone....gas attendants, bank tellers, drive thru workers, even my neighbor...also a guy in a rx 8 was like "damn man i shouldve gotten one of those" to my tc...some other guy in a 300zx was like dude that car is hot.....i actually think a cop was checking it out once too...i was driving the other day and this cop whips past me and then jams the brakes...he slows down so u is even with me on my drivers side.....he stays there for about 2 minutes(the longest 2 mins of my life) then he drops back and goes behind me and then does the same thing on the passenger side....then he goes in front and i see him glancing back in the rear view mirror...after about 3 more minutes...hes out....but yeah.....i luv this car and so does everyone else.....ha ha ha peace!

 

Actually they're well built cars, its dumbass people like you who don't know anything about cars that give them a bad name. Hell you were dumb enough to buy a Scion xA...your personality immediately shows through as someone with no taste

The '05 Mustangs look great in person. You don't really get the same effect in photos of them. I've gotten complements on my car from an '05 Mustang owner, while I was checking out his car.

And, oddly enough, a lot of cars out here in O.C. slow down to look at my Scion... I've had some very high-end, luxury car drivers pull up by me, check out the car, give me a nod and then change lanes again. It's kind of a trip, considering I spent maybe a 1/3 of what they spent on their cars.

I get Scion Boxes that pull up by me all the time too. And just tonight, another tC owner--his was dark blue--pulled up and just drove along side me for a while, then we parted ways.

It's a good feeling

Got the graphics on my tC that I mentioned earlier...check 'em out. I'm not sure what I think yet...

Those graphics are ok, not my style. I prefer the sleeper look. Stock outside, but beefed up internals (engine, suspension, etc).

If you like the graphics, really that's all that matters. I don't care for anything that draws attention to the car other than the car's styling itself.

 

while i dont normally agree with cyber gypsy..in this instance I will.. i personally think the new mustang is an ugly crossbreed of new and old. Why do you people bash others who dont agree with you? Who's the 13 year old now? respect others opinions before you flame them.

When "they" ask me what kind of car I got, I usually start out with the disclaimer that its not the boxy one, LOL I hate that car...no offense.

It wasn't as if it was that expensive- that's what I like about the vinyl stuff, you can just take it off and do something different.
