Default damn, I wanted stereo controls on my steering wheel...

Im kind of upset this wasnt availible in the 05 tC... I wonder if this could be added to my tC as an upgrade, and how expensive it would be... probably not worth it, but man, I hate that they are adding it now... why not 5 years down the road when I wouldnt have felt so bad. just wanted to vent... ahhh, now I feel better

i thought each scion model will last only for three years? I think you have to change the steering wheel + the radio. Which I dont think it is worth it at all.

That doesn't really make sense because it would have to work with an aftermarket head unit as well. At most, I would think there is some kind of wiring adapter.

planned obsolescence or "hey we oughta do this next". either way, i'd also like the controls.

as long as the body stays relatively the same over the course of my loan, i'm happy; no drastic changes til i can get a good price for it.

I really hope they dont do that. If they do, I'd never be able to buy a tC...maybe I should call and tell them they'd be losing several potential customers.

I heard a similar thing. Instead of redesigning current models, they'll just make a totally new one. That might work in our favor though b/c then I think the value of ours might go up or hold steady, since they don't make them anymore.

The audio controls on the steering wheel are not a biggie to me. The stereo is only inches away and I have no problem adjusting volume or tracks. What I would have wanted (which many others have voiced) is a volume **** which will be on the 06 I think.

Dude, we dont have a ferrari here or something. There is no way the value of a japanese car go up unless you wait for 50 years and it becomes a classic car.

the scion is not going to be a classic in 50 years, it will be in a junkyard getting recycled.
