Default Dealer options for the scion.

Hey guys, I tried searching but came up with no luck (maybe I missed it, but I doubt it.). I was wondering what performance options Im not a mechanic so does anyone know how much scion will charge for installation? Couple more questions, how much on average do you think I will be able to talk the salesman down (just say a fully loaded tC) or how much did you talk them down. Lastly, does anyone know good body shops in the Phoenix area that can install bodykits/aftermarket parts.

Thanks.

buy your parts after you buy the car they will be cheaper, the dealer charges way too much.

doubt you can talk the salesmen down, i think it's a pure price thing or something not sure.

Hey man...first of all, you won't be able to talk the salesman down. Toyotas prices are set. period. They don't go up or down.
There is no "fully loaded" tC they all come with the same things, you can simply add what you will to them. If you don't want to pay for the dealer to install a part, you can do it yourself. Simple things like intakes..headers...etc come with simple step by step instructions that a 5 year old could follow.

Hope that all helps.

Alright so Ill wait for the performance upgrades until after I get my tc, as im not a good installer (probably will mess it up even with directions :p). Does anyone know any good bodyshops around the Phoenix area?

Thanks for the replies btw.

Ummm..your best bet for that is to either go to the regional area (dessert & salt) and ask there...or an AZ phone book or something.

Ok Last question, will any body shop work to install upgrades or do I have to go to specific types of bodyshops?

well..a BODY shop will probably only do things to the BODY..as far as under the hood you will probably have to find some sort of performance shops or maybe some general maintenance shops would do it for you.
