I'm pretty sure the install of the upgraded mirror has nothing to do with the windshield - it's just the mirror part - there is a stock mirror and I don't think you have to re-stick this one. I'll confirm when I get my copy of the install instructions.

I thought someone posted a long time ago that the stock mirror was pre-wired for the autodimming mirror. If this is the case, then the install should be super easy. Someone said the install was only $25 - I doubt the dealer is taking off a bunch of trim pieces and running wires for $25. Swapping mirrors and clipping a few wires on I believe.

Sooo... either the install is more than $25 or the thing is pre-wired.

It looks like the install is a little involved (thanks again for the instructions, Paul!)

Mainly removing trim to run the wires, then splicing 'em into the wires attached to the fusebox. It doesn't look difficult, but I would take my time removing the trim so I don't damage anything.

I'd like to have the Homelink thing for my garage opener, but I could also wire the transmitter to my high beams like I've seen some people do.

The overhead console, left visor , left A pillar trim, left door sill, left kick panel trim have to be removed to do the install. :D
Wow, your site actually have items lower than partznet.com!

Oooh I can't wait to get my own tC so I can get stuff in there!

The reason I wouldn't buy the sub is because it is so overpriced. The only nice thing about it is that it comes with that cover.

Sub Woofer:
I was skeptical about getting this add-on. Alot of people were telling me "bazooka sucks" and blah blah blah. But you know what? This thing is amazing, but not for the reasons many would think. This thing is literally tucked away in the corner of the trunk. I've never seen something so small and compact kick out this much thump. I'm not a big audio enthusiast by any means, but I'm extremely happy with this purchase. On the stereo, I currently have the Base set to -5 with the Treble set to +5 and even then... the base is still pumping out! I can feel it in my chest and my hair vibrates... which is more than enough for me. I'd also like to note.... nothing in the car rattles! I love it. All that cargo room, and I add a kicker, and I don't even notice it is there, really. Amazing product. Unless you are a hardcore audio guy who just has to have earth-shattering base at almost illegal levels... I see no reason not to get the sub-woofer. I'm very very happy with it. With the windows down and top wide open... cruising the highway at 80... I can crank the stereo and the trebs are very crisp, clear, loud, and audible.. and the base is just deep and thumping... I can feel it in my seat. That is plenty for me. The stereo and sub is expensive, but I love it. If you had to chose, though... I'd get the sub instead of the upgraded stereo... but that is just me.
