so i live in houston and it just rained yesterday. i was driving in an academy parking lot and it didnt look like it could be deep well next thing u know im doing down a big deep puddle and i come up. im sure i was at last 1 foot deep. when i came up i saw steam coming from the engine.
anything i should be worried about?

 

Nah....Just water hitting the hot engine...if your car didnt shut off or idle rough you should be fine......that rain was nasty yesterday

 

alright thanks. although it looks like my gas gauge is depreciating fast could just me being paranoid.

 

Eh....I noticed that on my tC..as soon as you get about half way the gas seems to go quicker

You could always bring it to the dealer just incase

 

you should have no prblem they are pretty tight and sealed good as lnong it isnt idling rough your ok

 

^^ Hey do you guys have the 08 tC projectors at your parts dept. yet?

 

I have TRD cold air intakes for the 08 tc if that is what you are looking for, not sure what u mean projectors?

 

I mean the new projector headlights for the 08 tC. I wanted to change out my 06 headlights for the new 08 projector headlights.

you can techincally hose down your engine bay and it'll be fine.

just no water in the intake pretty much.. lol

 

We are all assuming that you do not have a cold air intake that sucked up water---you would no doubt know by now if you have a problem........
