I was in L and was accelerating(pretty slow) and forgot to let go of the accel and went straight to D, everything seems fine but anything to be worried about?

 

should be fine, why were you in L??

 

going from L to D won't hurt at all

i never understood my cars have a L anyways....i guess it's only for towing...but the tC shouldn't tow anything.
i understand 2nd and 3rd because of downshifting so you can control the car better going down hills

 

L might be useful for going up steep ramps or something.
