disarming the Scion Security - 2 beeps v. 4 beeps ?

nope, i have scion security in my tc (yes, i can 100% sure it is scion security), it only flashes the turn signals, no beeps. if i try to lock it, and one of the doors is open, it doesn't flash, so i have to go and check the doors and hatch to see which one is open.

my gf's xa has scion security, i bought it from sparks, and it beeps. it seems kinda weird.

yeah, i think you get two with every purchase of an 08 tc.

you might be able to buy one to work with an 07.

I am almost certain OEM Scion Security does indeed beep. When there is no beep when the alarm is armed or disarmed, you have no alarm....you have keyless entry. If someone wants to test this, "set" your non-beeping OEM alarm and kick the tires hard, tap the windows, rock the car. It should set the alarm off (with beeps and flashes)

If you did indeed pay for an alarm, test it as above and see if it sets off the alarm.

no beep on scion security. you can't make it beep when there's no option to beep in the first place.
